This black straw bag is the perfect background for the sun bather - a Designs by Dee needlepoint. Tiny seashells were added to the background. The necklace and earrings were embellished with tear-drop beads in turquoise, lime and yellow. A three-colour metallic cording completes the appliqué.

For an evening out, this design by JP is a real eye-catcher! This purse was finished with an oval bottom, lined in black silk shantung with a pocket in a shocking-pink silk dupioni as an accent. The 24-inch strap is made of twisted cord in DMC Perle Cotton.
