Weighted stand-ups and figures with velveteen backs.
Stand-ups turn a favourite canvas into a sculptural display piece. Cheryl builds each figure over a shaped form, covers the back and bottom with velveteen or another fabric, trims every seam with twisted cording and adds weighting so the figure stands solidly. The gallery includes Santa figures, angels, Indian standing figures and award-winning pincushions such as the Happy Jay.
